Backyard Wedding in Puglia

This is where I come from, This is my hometown… This is the place I call HOME!

I saw this project being born, from the expert hands of Elena (From Elena Pistone events) and Lamberto (from Idee Verdi).

It was the first time I met Lamberto, while I have known the amazing wedding planners behind the brand of Elena Pistone Events for quite sometimes… let’s say 17 years (sounds crazy!). Elena was able to transform a regular back yard in our Puglia, in a stunning location for this beautiful couple wedding.

Every detail was perfectly positioned, from the “tamburelli”, historical instrument used in Puglia to play Pizzica, to the typical Puglia ceramics… I was in love with the original idea to use a tamburello (AKA tambourin) as a guestbook and I love even more the signs “lu zitu” and “la zita”, written in Leccese dialect, which means “Fiancé” and “Fiancée”… Original and perfectly tailored for this wedding was also the work put together by Lamberto and his flowers.

This light is amazing. I’m in aww every time I look back at these shot, thinking how hot that day was, how much the sun was burning our faces creating the beautiful flares you will see… but also These shots make me think how important is the help of experts to make your day the way you always dreamed!
